Walking on the salt flat was tougher than we imagined and the warm gusts of wind felt similar to the "loo" of Delhi summers. Yet, the one thing that stayed with me was how geological formations and processes can create similar landscapes in such different parts of the world. I guess if you really want to see it, there will always be something to connect diverse corners of humanity.

New York has this thing, where it makes you forget stuff. Because there is so much newness around. Buildings are being pulled down, new ones coming up in their place. Deep friendships and connections can emerge and end within the space of a few weeks.
